2020
The spring of 2020 is a memorable one: the pandemic caused by Covid-19 had taken hold of all continents for several months. At the end of April, there were first glimmers of hope and after weeks of forced standstill, a restart seemed feasible.
This prompted the founders of ATEMO to turn their passion into their profession and to use their skills and expertise to found the Atelier fir Ekologie a Moosfuerschung.

Florian Hans

Purview: Biotope mapping, FFH species surveys, planification, expertise and support, GIS and mapping
Having worked at a planning agency as a biogeographer for over 30 years, Florian is not yet ready to fully retire. Instead, he wants to continue to employ his experience and knowledge in support of nature conservation and research.
Jean-Paul Wolff
Botanist
Founder and managing partner
Purview: GPS-supported monitoring of measures, flora surveys, editorial tasks, planning, and finances.
After pursuing a career in finance, Jean-Paul – thanks to his daughter Claire and under the mentorship of Dr. Simone Schneider – discovered botany which has since become his favourite occupation.
We are pleased to occasionally call on experienced freelancers, which enables us to take on large projects with the required professionalism and care.
