Finding greatness in the small
As passionate naturalists, we rely on our knowledge to protect nature and preserve biodiversity. Our purview extends from large-scale projects (habitat management, monitoring of renaturation initiatives etc.) to the study of the infinitesimal world of mosses (bryological surveys, moss research).
New publication
After exploring the muddy banks of the Upper Sûre reservoir, we recently published an article in the Bulletin de la Société des Naturaliste Luxembourgeois.
Several exciting discoveries are highlighted, such as Bidens radiata, a new vascular plant species for Luxembourg. The survey led to the discovery of a considerable number of rare vascular plants and bryophytes, as well as several insufficiently documented habitats for Luxembourg.
